To get started with the SmartAngler app, follow these easy steps:
1. Upload your fishing gear
Store your fishing rods and baits in the app. Select categories and fill in their profiles
And most important, have fun naming them whatever you want – like „Rodzilla“ or „Baitinator„
For each fish in the app, you will see which rod and bait you used to catch it
2. Activate fishing rod
Two options to activate :
CLASSIC (Carp) ACTIVATE 6 sec.
Click on the rod > Select bait > Set the alarm > Activate by clicking Logo (fish) button
FAST (Spin) ACTIVATE 1 sec.
Long press on the rod (hold on a second)
*After clicking on the cast rod, you can change the bait or recast the rod at any time
3. Log your catch
Here is also two options to do it :
CLASSIC LOG 10 sec.
Click on the active rod > Catch a fish > Take a picture > Select the fish spieces and set sizes > Log it by clicking the fish symbol
FAST LOG 1 sec.
Long press on the rod > Take a picture > Select the fish spieces by long pressing (logged automatically). Sizes ca be filled in after trip
*The logo button or fish symbol at the bottom of the screen has several functions:
1. On the homepage, it opens the menu
2. It works as a back-to-home button
3. It confirms selections and saves changes when editing profiles
